Echolalia was commissioned by Twin Radius for CenterForm in Atlanta, GA during the winter of 2017.
The definition of Echolalia is the “meaningless repetition of another person's spoken words as a symptom of psychiatric disorder”. The title refers to my obsession to find significance in losing my mother to a brain disease as well as my mother’s own experience with echolalia. Images and forms repeat themselves throughout the work, creating a disjointed pattern that loosely follows an intangible narrative.
